<B>1900 S$1 Lafayette Dollar MS64 NGC.</B></I> Ex: Carmody Tribute Collection. DuVall 1-B. The first commemorative silver dollar, and the only silver dollar commemorative until the 1983 Olympic issue, the Lafayette is both popular with collectors and difficult to acquire in grades as nice as this near-Gem. This piece is toned mostly in shades of tan-gold, with highlights of both sepia and cobalt blue visible in the peripheral lettering and stars.
