1900 American Eagle Luger in U.S. military test range, serial number 6770 remaining in near fine original condition with approximately 85% to 95% original blue. The Luger shows some losses at the straps and muzzle area but is generally crisp with excellent markings and good surfaces. The trigger safety and small parts show considerable original straw finish. The grips are slightly darkened from oil with a few bumps and normal aging. All matching serial numbers, no Germany marking, and the takedown lever is numbered on the reverse side which is proper on “test guns”. The interior is very good and the bore is also very good plus. There is some slight beginning pitting and erosion on the inside strap. From the estate of Frank Semmo noted art dealer and old time collector. Est.: $3,500-$7,000.
