Senour in Chicago, Illinois. In 1917 the company was acquired by the Sherwin-Williams Company and has remained with them to the present day. The ad shows a painter with a brush in his hand pointing towards the stain bucket while three children play on the wood floor with toys. The two products being advertised are the floor paint and the floor stain. The top right shows the logo and reads, "The Martin-Senour co. / Established 1878 / Pioneers of Pure Paint" in black lettering. The bottom reads, "Senour's Floor Paint Wears Like Iron" and to the right of that reads, "Wood-Var Stain For Floors And Furniture". The advertisement shows good condition for its vintage age with some spots of wear to the edges and slight creasing in the bottom right hand corner, but no obvious signs of damage are present. The ad is set on a piece of foam board and plastic wrapped to ensure long lasting quality. The ad measures 17 7/8" L x 15" W.
