18th century flintlock pistol signed Turvey on lock with brass mounts in Georgian style. The lock shows a good quality reconversion back to flint. The metal surfaces show some light to moderate pitting and erosion and recoloring where converted which is well done. The stock shows some small losses around the edges and some slight repairs and restorations. The pistol measures 14” overall and a 8” barrel in approximately .69 caliber smoothbore. Possible use in either French and Indian war or American Revolutionary War. Est.: $750-$1,500.
