<td width="100%">
Qien Lung period, 18th. century celadon-blue jade in shape of an urn decorated with peonies flowers. The natural contrast between the celadon-blue color of the urn and the yellowish-orange color of the flowers points toward the creation of this urn by a master lapidary of the imperial court of Qien Lung. There is a small chip on a green leaf of the flowers and tiny chips noticed only under magnification. Height: 7.2" (18.5 cm.). Estimated value: $20.000. Provenance: Dr. Veleanu's jade collection, the author of the illustrated collectors' textbook: "Jade, 5000 BC to 1912 AD, Guide to collectors".
