18th. century celadon jade carving in shape of a citron fruit with the hands of Buddha formed in the lower part of the carving. This is a high quality of jade carving of Qien Lung period, done in homogenous, flawless, celadon jade. The carving was done in open work and in high relief. The price of white and celadon jade carvings increased 10 times fold in the past few years due to the tremendous demand of collectors from China. Length: 2.5" (6.5 cm.).
