18th century boys’ sword with gold damascuscened decorated hilt and guard with finely wrapped grip in silver wire. The sword measures 29-1/2” overall with 24-1/2” blade. The grip area is less than 3” indicatingsize of boy 7-12 years of age. The blade has been cleaned; hilt is good with dark patina and small losses. Grip is very good. Pommel nut is undisturbed. There is some wear to the gold but it is original to the perioddecoration. Est.; $900-$1,800
