18th Century mahogany Longcase Clock, gilt metal mounted swan neck pediment with central ball finial, arched face, painted with scene after Rubens, 'The Showing At the Temple', the corners painted with scenes emblematic of the four seasons, the trunk with fluted canted corners, similar plinth base, raised on ogee bracket feet, secondary minutes and date dials, eight day movement by Thomas Drake of London, (restored and re- painted throughout), 95" high (see illustration)
