Measuring 21 inches overall, with a 15 1/2 inch blade, 1 1/2 inches wide at the dished ricasso and rapidly tapering at the final 2 inches, with an unidentified small proof on either side. Straight ball tipped quillions, 8 1/2 inches across, with a lightly border engraved triangular guard, twisted wire wrapped grip and a ball pommel. Provenance: The William Ashby Collection
