A collection of original manuscript documents and letters relating to the collapse of the Dillon and Ferrall bank which suspended payments in 1754 after the partners absconded. Including accounts details, letter relating to the committee appointed to enquire into the state and condition of creditors of the bank, letter to attorney Mr. Matthew Sweeny, letter showing the illegitimate use of free government post etc. Also a letterpress notice “to the creditors of Thomas Dillon and Richard Ferrall, late bankers in Dublin” printed by James Pue in Skinner-Row, Dublin 1761.
