Charming cherub boy with staff and ribbon banner, lovely cream with gold accents on blue background make this antiquarian gem a welcome addition to any fine decorative arts collection. Very early hand sculpted, individually painted, European plaster over sack cloth, decorative plaque, pieces mounted on wooden panel (circa 1950) in order to be used as a wall hanging, possibly an interior architectural accent. Fabulous decorative antiquarian find, one of possible set of three. Just obtained from Italian antique dealer at Brimfield, these are most probably French or Italian. Please see reference items 105 and 106. Thanks for Looking Chuck.
