Chinese Famille Rose enameled porcelain vase; the unusually squat ovoid body features colourful enameled and prominent lotus blooms borne on an undulating vine with attendant offshoot buds; above and below the body features a register of imprinted gilt gold ruyi head designs reserved on red; the long neck features lotus blooms; alternating gilt gold designs reserved on blue and red: both bordered by a narrow double blue and red line; flared rim decorated with gilt gold with the interior in turquoise ground; supported on a foot rim with base featuring upright petal lappets; openwork flange handles in the form of chilong dragon, 18/19th Century, six-character Qianlong Mark on base and possibly of the Period; H: 40 cm, D: 25 cm
