Antique Chinese rare hand painted enameled Famille Noir porcelain dragon vase. Has tubular form with flared lip. Raised Chih Lung dragon spiraling around the vase. To the mouth of the dragon is a stalk with lingzhi mushroom. Qing Dynasty period. Measures 9 5/8" height x 5 3/8" diameter (24.4cm x 13.6cm). Total weight of 767 grams. Provenance: From an Important St. Louis Collection. Purchased from Rare Art, Inc., NY on 07/20/1999. Ex collection from Milwaukee Art Museum, accession/deaccession numbers B-149 and 131. Holds Zeiser Museum and Milwaukee Museum label to bottom.
