Fabulous 18th.-19th. century jadeite plaque featuring 2 facing dragons holding in their mouth a perforated cylinder, probably representing tama, also, a bat and ling zhi sprigs. The jadeite plaque has a custom made wood display pedestal. Length: 4.9" (12 cm.). Width: 3.8" (9.5 cm.). Provenance: Dr. Veleanu's jade collection, the renown author of the collectors' textbook: "Jade, 5000 BC to 1912 AD, Guide to collectors".
