A very fine 18th century cane with stepped malacca shaft, coin silver mounts & ivory knob. This 36.5" long canehas a nice bulbous 2" high x 1.4" diameter ivory knob with silver mounting rings decorated with roping at knob &step. The shaft is pierced with silver eyelets for a wrist-strap. Nice early 3" long brass & steel ferruleOriginal finish in very good condition, tight age lines in knob, minor dents in ferrule.(EST 500-700)
