<td width="100%">

This early table has a Maple base and original one board White Pine top that has bread board ends. The table top is one board that is 27 1/2" wide x 45" long and is 26 1/2" high. The Maple base has pegged construction, cut-out skirt on both sides(but not on ends).....square Chippendale legs have molded outer edge and champfered lower inner edge. There is evidence of the table at one time having a drop leaf off 1 side(not original) and later being returned to its' original state. The original top has been turned over(traces of original red paint on what was the up side, also inside the skirt) and repegged and nailed. The table is totally original except the surface which is a mellow worn old refinish....great candidate for stripping and returning to a red painted surface.
