One electronically tested 18KT white gold ladies cast & assembled diamond and ruby necklace with a bright polish finish. Sixteen inch length necklace features a stylized diamond and ruby open oval pendant accented by two diamond and ruby drops supported by a flexible diamond ribbon, terminating in a concealed clasp with safety bar. Identified with markings of "18K".The necklace is reminiscent of the jewelry designs from the Art Deco Period. The Paris Exposition of Decorative Arts and Modern Manufacturers in 1925 gave the movement its name. The Art Deco Period is characterized with jewelry designs composed of bold geometric designs, & cubism. Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: Two prong set pear shaped cut diamonds, measuring 6.50 x 4.00 x 2.60mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 2 Stones = 0.89ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-1 to SI-2. Color: F - H Forty-eight channel set baguette step cut natural rubies, measuring 2.50 x 2.10 x 0.90mm, approximate total weight of 2.50 ct., clarity is slightly included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with a minimum of distortion, transparent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Color grade is an average for the group.
