The markings in this ring make it very interesting. It is stamped "18K" and "14K," meaning that the top is 18K white gold and the shank is 14K white gold. This was very common practice even through the 1940s, as the harder gold was used for the shank to make it more stable, while the softer, prettier gold was used around the stones.

The interesting part is that it is also stamped "virgin diamond." I have no idea what that means and if anyone else does, please write and let me know. I have never seen that stamp before.

There is a lot of detail to this ring; the more you look at it the more it pops out at you. The center stone is 10 points and a brilliant cut. It is a size 6 1/2.

This is the perfect mother's ring, engagement ring, promise ring, right-hand ring, or "I Just deserve It" ring.

Though this is an antique, it is in excellent condition. There is a little yellow in the photos from reflection at the top of the ring. It is not the ring, which is not flawed.
This ring will arrive packed in a ring box or a small, silk envelope.
Remember, any ring can be made up to three sizes larger or smaller.
