Deluxe factory engraved Marlin Model 1893 lever action rifle, .30-30 caliber, takedown, 20” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, ¾ magazine, deluxe checkered wood stocks, Serial #163068. This gun is in fine Lot Title overall condition showing the majority of its original blue finish on the Special Smokeless Steel barrel; scattered areas of original case colors on the receiver, hammer, lever and crescent butt plate; crisp action, Lot Title sharp markings, fine bore; extensive engraving on the receiver, barrel at the breech, fore end cap and butt plate including two finely accomplished panel scenes. One scene depicts a hunting dog on the right side Lot Title of the frame and the other of a mountain lion on the left. The wood is overall fine with better-than-standard graining and checkered diamonds accenting both sides at the wrist.
