<B>1899-S 10C MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The 1899-S is much scarcer, especially in the better grades of Mint State, than one would expect from the mintage of 1.86 million pieces. Only six coins have been certified MS64 by PCGS with 11 finer (10/07). This is an originally toned example that has light, mottled russet toning over each side and bright underlying mint frost. The obverse rim deepens significantly to rich shades of golden-brown and blue. Sharply struck.<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> Charles E.
