<B>1899 $1 MS66 NGC.</B></I> The 1899 dollar is a popular semi-scarce date with a low-mintage figure of 330,000 business strikes. The Premium Gem in this lot displays vibrant luster and is essentially untoned. Nice detail is present on the design elements, including good definition in most of Liberty's hair strands and on the eagle's breast feathers. A minor luster graze or two on the obverse does not detract.
