<B>1898-S $20 MS66 NGC.</B></I> This issue is very common in the lower Mint State grades, with thousands certified by NGC and PCGS from MS60 through MS64. At MS65 the '98-S becomes scarce, and it is rare any finer. Remarkable eye appeal is the hallmark of this lustrous, richly toned Premium Gem. The deep rose-gold toning is accented on each side by mint-green traces that occur near the peripheries and into some of the fields. The beautiful coloration is highlighted by intense cartwheel luster that radiates from each side of this wonderfully preserved double eagle. If not for a couple of wispy luster grazes in the left obverse field, and a small alloy spot located between stars 3 and 4, this piece might have been graded as a Superb Gem.
