<B>1898-S $10 MS63 NGC.</B></I> Despite a not insignificant mintage of 473,600 pieces, the 1898-S is a difficult coin to locate in finer Mint State grades. This Select Mint State example is colored in reddish-gold shades over bright, semi-prooflike surfaces. The sharp strike is free of criticism, and the number of small abrasions is consistent with the designated grade.
