<B>1898-O 50C MS65 NGC.</B></I> As is often the case with New Orleans Barber coinage, the 1898-O is easily secured in AG through VG, but is surprisingly difficult to locate any finer. Mint State examples are rare, and the appearance of a Gem provides a major opportunity for the specialist. This brilliant piece has vibrant luster, and is nearly immaculate aside from faint slide marks on the cheek.
