<B>1898 $20 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> This date has a surprisingly low mintage of just 170,395 coins, and few have survived in any Mint State grade. Its status as a condition rarity in grades above MS63 provides a further challenge to the collector. Examples at this grade level are not major rarities, yet they are hard to find with any degree of aesthetic appeal. This piece has frosty yellow-gold luster with minor surface marks and traces of pale orange toning.
