<B>1898 $2 1/2 PR62 Cameo NGC.</B></I> Unmistakably prooflike fields and rich orange-gold coloration are hallmarks of this pleasing quarter eagle. The 1898 is not a rare date, according to Garrett and Guth, with perhaps as many as 100 survivors from an original mintage of 165 pieces.
