<B>1898 10C PR65 Cameo PCGS.</B></I> A goodly number of the 735-piece mintage 1898 proof dimes have survived, judging by the PCGS and NGC population figures (370 or so examples). A relatively small number, however, have rated a Cameo status. This Gem Cameo displays outstanding field-device contrast, and shows iridescent cobalt-blue, lavender, and gold-tan patina around the margins of the nicely preserved surfaces. A powerful strike emboldens all of the design features.
