<B>1897-O 10C MS67 PCGS.</B></I> The obverse of this Superb Gem is essentially brilliant with a few small splashes of deeper color. The center of the reverse is mostly white with peripheral steel blue and golden-brown toning. From a mintage of just 666,000 coins, the 1897-O Barber dime is a scarce date in the series that is seldom found in high grade, as nearly all examples entered circulation. This piece, for example, is tied for the finest that PCGS has certified in 20 years of coin grading. Both sides have immaculate surfaces with frosty mint luster.
