<B>1897 $1 MS67 NGC.</B></I> Well struck with a light coating of silver-white patina over both sides and impeccably preserved surfaces. Two or three tiny contact marks are noted on the lower parts of the eagle. Both Wayne Miller and Dave Bowers have called the 1897 Morgan dollar a common date, but they were obviously not referring to MS67 coins.
