<B>1896-S $5 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> The 1896-S is scarce in all grades, and is even more difficult to locate in Mint State than suggested by its low mintage of 155,400 pieces. A solitary MS67 example has been certified by PCGS, but most mere mortals can only aspire to own one of the four MS64 pieces encapsulated by NGC or PCGS.
