<B>1896-S $1 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> VAM-8. The mintmark is lightly repunched. This nearly untoned silver dollar is lustrous and carefully preserved. The hair above the ear is slightly soft, but most details are sharp. Unlike its Philadelphia Mint counterpart, the 1896-S is very scarce, even in circulated grades.
