<B>1896-S $1 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> Wisps of light tan patination make occasional visits to the lustrous surfaces of this S-mint Morgan dollar. We note some prooflike tendencies, especially on the reverse, where die polish lines reside in the fields. The strike is better than average for the issue, though softness occurs in the hair over Liberty's ear.
