<B>1896-O S$1 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> The 1896-O is a curious issue that is essentially available in whatever price range one wishes. Tons of coins are available in circulated condition. Uncirculated pieces are genuinely scarce and are increasingly difficult and expensive as one looks up the grading scale. This is a satiny example that has attractive multicolored toning on the obverse and a brilliant reverse. Close examination reveals a number of small abrasions on the obverse that account for the grade.
