Even the upper right corner of the shield and adjacent feathers, areas that are often weak, are bold. Glowing luster underlies light tan-gold toning at the obverse periphery that is replaced by a blend of cobalt-blue, lavender, and deeper tan-gold around the reverse border. The grade is defined by wispy handling marks on the cheek.
