<B>1896-O $1 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> Although Carson City silver dollars have a vast following, specialists of the Morgan dollar series know that most New Orleans issues between 1886 and 1897 are rare in better Mint State grades. Like the 1886-O, the 1896-O is plentiful in VF, but is nearly unheard of as a Gem.
