<B>1896 25C PR67 Deep Cameo PCGS.</B></I> As much as the Barber design has been maligned as unimaginative and aesthetically unappealing, certain issues and specimens within those issues represent some of the greatest achievements in the coiner's art. The Deep Cameo Superb Gem presented here is one such piece. The fields are deeply reflective, and the exactingly struck devices have remarkable frost. A small frosting break appears on the left part of the neck, and a shallow luster graze affects the cheek, yet the sheer magnitude of the overall eye appeal makes these tiny quibbles eminently forgivable.
