<B>1895 Corbett vs. Fitzsimmons Full Ticket.</B></I> This is a full, unused ticket for the proposed match between heavyweight Champion, James J. Corbett and Robert Fitzsimmons for October 31, 1895 in Dallas, Texas. The fight did not come off. The two did fight in Carson City in 1897 with Fitzsimmons stopping Corbett to win the title. The ticket is in fair condition. It is full with the stubs attached although reinforced on the reverse by tape. There is some writing on the front and the four corners are clipped. There is back damage from being glued down and removed. Still, a very scarce ticket featuring two of the great fighters of the late nineteenth century. <I>LOA from Craig Hamilton / JO Sports.</B></I>
