<B>1895 10C MS65 NGC.</B></I> The 1895 dime, with a business strike mintage of 690,000 pieces, is one of the scarcer Philadelphia Mint issues. In MS65, the grade of the coin in this lot, NGC and PCGS have seen fewer than 20 examples, and about 10 or so in higher states of preservation (3/07). Variegated cobalt-blue, golden-brown, and lavender toning bathes the obverse, while the reverse is mostly a delicate golden-gray and tan. The design elements are sharply impressed, and soft luster exudes from both sides.
