<B>1895 $1 Huth Hawaii Silver Dollar PR63 Deep Cameo NGC.</B></I> 2MH-3. The obverse features Princess Kaiulani, facing right, one dolphin below the bust. A map of the Hawaiian Islands set in the frosted globe background of the Pacific Ocean centers the reverse. This glittering specimen is overlaid in delicate golden patina and boasts admirable contrast. Several paper-thin frost breaks are noted on the expanses of the globe. Huth's Princess Kaiulani medal was produced in honor of here 18th birthday. Listed in Medcalf & Russell's Hawaiian Money Standard Catalog, 2nd Edition, 1991 as 2MH-3. Listed in Unusual World Coins, Third Edition (1992) by Colin R. Bruce II as XM3. The latter reference estimates a mintage of 20 pieces; Metcalf states that varieties 2MH-3 and 2MH-5 had a combined production of 50 pieces. <BR><BR><B>Important notice:</B> Heritage usually auctions material at the rate of 200-250 lots per hour.
