<B>1894-S S$1 MS66 NGC.</B></I> While the 1894-S is not as rare in Uncirculated grades as the other issues from this year, it is certainly unusual for two MS66 examples to appear in the same auction. This coin and the Jackson Hole piece give the collector a rare opportunity to select between two of the finest specimens known. As with most high grade examples known of this issue, the luster is superb. Thick and frosted, it rolls around each side and is undisturbed by abrasions. Fully struck. Each side has deep, spotty reddish-brown and blue toning that is mostly concentrated around the margins.
