<B>1894 Cincinnati Reds Baseball Schedule.</B></I> Gorgeous Victorian era lithography makes the cover of this tremendously scarce publication a visual jewel, and a treasure for all collectors of this earliest Major League club. The four-page pamphlet was issued by local newspaper "The Cincinnati Enquirer," and lists all 130 games played that season on the interior two pages, with the results of each faithfully documented by the schedule's original owner. The back cover features spectacular imagery of the team's front office, management and players, with early legends such as Charles Comisky (sic), Bid McPhee and Dummy Hoy among those pictured. Imperfect condition must be forgiven due to the advanced age of the piece, and the fact that it endured quite a bit of handling in the year of its birth as well. The spine has split, leaving the schedule in two 3.5x7" pieces. Each half of the light card stock schedule has suffered a chipped corner, but one is reaffixed with vintage tape and the other is present but not reattached.
