<B>1894 $1 PR65 PCGS.</B></I> Of the two known varieties of proofs from this year, this piece is struck from the dies that have the date to the left, the 9 is heavy and closed, and die file marks slant down to the right between the back of the eagle's neck and wing. Always of interest to advanced collectors as high grade 1894 business strikes are so scarce. This is a lightly toned Gem that has bright, highly reflective fields on each side.
