<B>1893-S $20 MS64 PCGS. CAC.</B></I> The 1893-S comes from a mintage of nearly 1 million pieces, large numbers of which were sent to settle overseas accounts. Relatively large numbers of Mint State examples have been certified through MS63 by PCGS and NGC, after which the population drops precipitously. This near-Gem displays dazzling luster and apricot-gold patina laced with mint-green. All of the design elements are well brought up, accentuating the coin's overall appeal. A few minor marks and luster grazes preclude full Gem classification. Population: 37 in 64, 1 finer (11/07).<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> James B.
