<B>1893-S $20 MS64 NGC.</B></I> Despite a mintage that approaches the million coin mark, few survivors of this issue demonstrate such remarkable eye appeal and overall quality. In fact, while NGC has recorded 19 examples in MS64 it has yet to grade an example in Gem or finer. This example is highly lustrous with brilliant pink-gold color. The surfaces are satiny and show no unsightly marks. All of the design elements on both sides are extremely sharp. Perhaps a few to many minor marks on Liberty's cheek prevent a Gem grade.
