<B>1893-O 10C MS65 NGC.</B></I> Fully struck, with faint die rust noted on Liberty's cheek, and beautifully bright, untoned surfaces that are essentially mark-free on both sides. Semi-reflective fields almost give this piece the appearance of a proof specimen. While the first-year 1892-O was likely saved in significant numbers (it is the most common O-mint issue in the Barber dime series), the 1893-O almost certainly was not. As a result, there are few Gem survivors from an original mintage of 1.7 million pieces.
