<B>1893-O $1 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> Noteworthy as the lowest mintage New Orleans Morgan dollar (300,000 pieces), the 1893-O is rare in all Mint State grades and becomes a key to the series at the MS64 level. The present near-Gem has pleasing luster, and lovely tan-gold color throughout the margins while the centers are mostly untoned, save for a hint of silver-gray color. A few minute obverse marks preclude a higher grade. Like virtually all 1893-O dollars, the strike is a bit soft in the centers, which does not reduce the imposing eye appeal.
