<B>1893-CC $5 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> During its last year of coinage operations, the Carson City Mint struck 60,000 half eagles, and nearly every one of those coins entered circulation. Most survivors today grade in the AU range, with few Mint State examples in existence. This piece has satiny yellow and rose-gold surfaces. Light hairlines in the fields are evident, preventing the possibility of a higher grade.
