<B>1893-CC $5 MS61 NGC.</B></I> An issue that is doubly popular, both as a CC-mintmarked coin and as the last year of half eagle production at the fabled Carson City Mint. There is strictly no trace of wear on this pleasing piece, but there are numerous small contact marks, prevalent more so in the obverse fields than elsewhere, that delimit the grade.
