<B>1893-CC<img border='0' src='http://www.heritagecoins.com/images/star.gif' width=10 height=10>$1 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> In his 2004 treatise <I>The Official Red Book of Morgan Dollars,</B></I> Bowers notes that the 1893-CC dollars are well known for being extensively bagmarked, resulting in the majority of Mint State pieces being in lower MS grades. He states: "A piece MS63 or finer, with minimum bagmarks is a numismatic find and is very special." The MS63 specimen we offer here has relatively well preserved surfaces, especially on the reverse. The obverse displays just a few minute marks on Liberty's cheek and neck, and in the left (facing) field. The surfaces are lustrous and white, and display sharply struck design elements.
