<B>1893-CC $1 MS63 NGC.</B></I> David Bowers (2006) notes of the 667,000-piece 1893-CC dollar that "Probably several hundred thousand (were melted) under the 1918 Pittman Act." Lustrous surfaces abound on this Select example, and reddish-gold patina gravitates to the peripheries, more extensively and deeper on the reverse.
